Cardi B turned 28 on Sunday and, as someone does on his birthday, is celebrating with a new business collaboration.
“I’m starting my birthday weekend by announcing that I’m officially launching my first collection of Reebok x Cardi shoes !!” she wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday with a picture of her sitting in a laundry room.
The Grammy-winning artist released two items from the collection at midnight on Sunday as a “birthday gift to my loyal fans”, with the rest of the “Club C Cardi” line arriving on November 13th.
The sneakers are available to Reebok members in child and adult sizes, costing $ 50 and $ 100, respectively, according to the company’s website.
The sneakers – designed by Cardi herself – show a lot of attitude, but are surprisingly subtle, with her name appearing only on the inside of the shoe.
This is not the rapper’s first commercial collaboration. In April, it announced a partnership with clothing brand Fashion Nova to help people in financial distress due to the coronavirus pandemic.
